The panic of swine flu has forced people of the whole world to know about swine flu vaccine tested and distributed. In the recent years swine flu has occurred as a pandemic and taken life of many individuals all over the world so it becomes quite obvious to know about different swine flu vaccine tested and distributed in various countries. According to the report 800,000 doses of swine flu virus vaccinations have been provided to the children from 6 months to 3 years in American countries. Some new vaccines are going through clinical trials in Australia and America to check the efficiency of these vaccines against swine flu. In addition the new influenza vaccines will also be tested by a series of clinical trials to gather the correct information about the effectiveness of this disease.
The people are being given influenza vaccination for protection against swine flu. Till now there is no appropriate vaccine for swine flu and scientists are doing experiments in this context. The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts recommended some of the vaccines to World Health Organization which was certified by WHO. SAGE also suggested the distribution of the vaccines first to health workers as they are at the high risk of getting infectious. Further it was suggested that different countries should make their own strategy for the distribution of swine flu vaccines depending on the condition of swine flu in their state. The pregnant women, small children aged between six months to three years, young adults and people with long time sickness should be given priority in terms of swine flu vaccine distribution. Besides, the production of new supplements to develop immunity against swine flu virus and other viruses were favored.
The production of swine flu vaccination was started by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of USA by separating and producing strains of swine flu virus as the first case of swine flu was reported. The strains were then sent to the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control of UK and other nations where there were a which uses these strains in the production of the vaccine. The vaccine development takes about six months and the swine flu vaccine is estimated to be available from September 2009 all over the world.
It is being estimated that this vaccine will be very effective in protecting from swine flu viruses and also in decreasing the attacks of serious illness. But it is also said that the effectiveness of the vaccines can be less if the virus mutates at high rate. The efficiency period of this vaccine is about one year and it gives about 70-80% of protection against swine flu viruses. The various steps taken in the making and testing of this vaccine is monitored by WHO. However it will be early enough to predict the mutation of swine flu virus. The scientists are also watching the side effects and response of immune system after using this vaccine against swine flu.
After all the tests if this vaccine will be passed by the national authorities of the nations then the awaited swine flu vaccine tested and distributed among the people.
