Flu Virus Stop

The outbreaks of swine flu have affected each and every individual in some way or other. With the increasing number of swine flu cases various schools and organizations have suspended operations for a week or two at many places this year. Parents were reluctant to send kids to school as the chances of swine flu infection increases in school or college campus. The center for disease control and prevention had reported that the increasing number of swine flu virus had affected more than two million people till august 2009.

According to an estimate of center for disease control and prevention, in the coming years more than forty percent of Americans will be infected with the h1n1 viruses. The predictions of CDC forced the experts to suggest the employees and also the employers of different organization to apply work from home formula if the dangerous effect of swine flu continues. The swine flu and working from home formula was suggested to the employers so that they can apply this formula both for themselves and for their employees. This was applied as preventive step against the spread of swine flu virus. In the recent years the swine flu virus has been attacking the world during flu season so before the start of flu season the experts asked the employers to consider working from home formula particularly in the areas where risk of getting infected with swine flu virus is high.

Away from swine flu and work from home formula it was also suggested that employees can take unconditional leave if suffering from swine flu or someone near to them is suffering from swine flu. The employers were asked not to deduct salary of any employee who has taken leave in the pretext of swine flu. Employers and employees were also made aware about the incubation period of swine flu during which an infected person can get infected again or make others also infected. If an employee had swine flu then he was capable of infecting others prior to manifestation of any symptoms, and up to seven days after manifestation of symptoms. So those employees who felt good enough to work after suffering from swine flu were asked not to report to work unless totally recovered.

Such employees were asked to create a work space at their home and perform tasks from home office. But these all were not necessary as commented by the medical and business experts. The employers and employees were asked to utilize preventive measures against swine flu. Employees were asked to wash their hands after touching different items which can be infected.

The employees were also asked to maintain six feet distance when talking to one another so that they can keep themselves away from the attack of h1n1 virus. It is not important to follow the swine flu and working from home formula, the important thing is to follow preventive measures against swine flu.
