Everyone is aware about the swine flu vaccine guillain barr syndrome which occurred in the year 1976 due to vaccination program of the American government against protection from swine flu. In the year 1976 after the examination of the dead body of an American warrior it was found that there were strains of H1N1 virus in his body and the soldier died due to swine flu. After the death of this American soldier more than five hundred soldiers were found to be affected with the same virus. Seeing the increasing number of swine flu infected soldiers the government of America started a vaccination program to save the soldiers and other people of America from the attacks of swine flu. Soon government had to drop this expensive swine flu vaccination program because many of the people after taking this vaccination had reported to dealing with guillain barr syndrome. The guillain barr syndrome is an inflammatory disorder of peripheral nerves. The movement of a human body is restricted due to guillain barr syndrome. A person can suffer with the guillain barr syndrome if he has taken any antibacterial or antiviral vaccination or had gone through any surgical treatment or had any bacterial or viral disease. This swine flu vaccination program has not only killed the time and took the money of the people but also harmed the health of the people. Moreover the swine flu vaccine guillain barr syndrome has affected individuals of all sex and age. Instead of increasing their immunity against swine flu virus it made people to suffer from guillain barr syndrome. It was also circulated through news that only one person died due to swine flu and the rest were cured after treatment orhospitalization. There were many court cases against the government after the swine flu vaccine guillain barr syndrome due to which government had to pay the cost of treatment to the people who were affected with this syndrome.
Effects of swine flu vaccine guillain barr syndrome
After that whenever there is epidemic of swine flu or during the flu season the government distributes antiviral medicines, nasal sprays and flu vaccines to their citizens. The flu vaccination has not proved to be very effective against severe attacks of swine flu and it also causes side effects such as redness of skin, tenderness, swelling and itching on skin, skin rashes and many more. The center for disease control and prevention, the world health organization and different local health organizations are making people aware from the symptoms, preventive steps of swine flu. The researchers are finding vaccines against swine flu which should be powerful enough to protect from attacks of mild and severe swine flu and should also not cause any side effects to the human body. It is being estimated that in the coming year that is 2010 people will be able to get the new vaccine and save themselves and their family from the dangerous attacks of swine flu.
However till now it has not been proved that the guillain barr syndrome is the consequence of swine flu vaccine but let’s hope that there is no repetition of swine flu vaccine guillain barr syndrome any more with this new vaccine.
